Weightloss, Health & Nutrition

All my life I have been very sporty, fit and healthy and never put on weight.  People used to comment that this would all change when I reached middle-age.  Naturally I ignored such comments.  No surprises then that when the big day came I discovered what they meant by “middle-age spread”.  This was a surprise but no shock.  That came latter.

So before you get too bored, what is the point of this blogg.  Well..I, like the majority of people  always frowned upon FAT and OVERWEIGHT people, giving throw away advice like, ”try eating less” and “discover where the GYM is”.  I now realise of course that life is just not that simple.  I have been shocked at how fast I can put weight on and how difficult it can be to loose.  It has been a very emotional journey for me and now I want to help others who are struggling with weight problems and share my experiences.

I am currently spending a lot of time with a very close friend of mine who is now morbidly obese.  He became a grandfather 18 months ago and has realised that he would like to watch his grandson grow up and graduate from university.  The reality is, that if he does not loose weight now, he will probably not be around in 2 years time. Yes! his family love him and have expressed their concern.  But it is down to him at the end of the day and they are all brutally aware of this fact, so just leave alone.  He has made a commitment to his family to loose weight, but my good friend “M” needs help, so I have “stepped up to the plate”.

It is kind of scary having such a responsibility when you know what’s at stake.  But hopefully I can help “M” and the thousands of other “M’s” out there.

This is such a massive subject to write about I am almost at a loss where to start, so for those of you who are seeking an early revelation, here is something that has got “M” and many others off to the type of start we all need.

During my journey of weight loss, weight gain and depression, It was suggested to me by a good friend that a Weight-loss Patch could be the answer.  He recommended something called the Jen Fe Patch (www.qeddirect.co.uk).  Naturally I was a little sceptical until he explained in more detail how it worked.  Being a former fitness geek, I am still very anal about not taking drugs and only using what god and nature has provided.  After much persuasion in the form of testimonies from others using this patch I decided to give it a go.  I have have been so impressed with the results  I can not recommended this weight loss aid more highly.  I was so enthusiastic I bought some for my sister who has battled with weight for years and is now  suffering with arthritic knee joints and other issues as a result.

The Jen Fe Patch is no miracle cure, but it does work in a very special way and genuinely aids in long-term weight-loss.  If you have struggled for years with weight issues and you want to loose weight, I can highly recommend this product as a great way to get started.

Later I will cover other associated topics such as, exercise, food and nutrition, lifestyle and motivation.  Always remember, If you have excess weight that you want to loose, then slow and gradual is the key.
